2. The information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry, quote for work, carry out a job, or send you something you have asked for.

• When you request a quote: your name, phone number, email, postcode, property type, a description of the job, and any photos you choose to send.
• When you book a clean: the details above, plus the best email address to send your before & after photos to.
• When you contact us by phone, email or our forms: whatever details you share in that message.

Information we collect automatically

• Website usage data: things like your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you got here. We collect this through cookies and similar tools. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health or ethnicity), and we do not ask for it.

3. Why we use your information, and our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are set out below.

4. Marketing

We will only send you marketing messages, such as gutter care reminders, if you have asked us to. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. Asking for a quote or booking a clean does not sign you up to marketing — that is a separate choice.

5. Who we share your information with

We never sell your data. We do not share it with anyone except the trusted suppliers who help us run the business, and only so they can do that job for us. These include:

• Our website host (20i) — stores the website and any data submitted through it.
• Our forms and email tools — used to receive your enquiry, send our replies, and email your before & after photos.
• Google (Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager) — helps us measure how the website performs. Data may be processed outside the UK; where that happens it is protected by approved safeguards such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also share information if the law requires us to, or to protect our rights.

6. How long we keep your information

• Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 24 months after your last contact, then deleted.
• Customer and job records: up to 6 years after the work, to meet tax and legal requirements.
• Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
• Website analytics: in line with our analytics provider's standard retention settings.

7. How we keep your information safe

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting who can access it. No system is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to guard against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information, where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
